The location was great! Close to the beach and shopping and a short drive to San Diego zoo and La Jolla which I would highly recommend. The condo was clean but I did do a little cleaning upon our arrival. Overall, beautiful grounds and a great place for our family vacation!!

The property was as described. The coaster train didn't bother us and our 3 kids slept through the night. The king size mattress sagged, but wasn't terrible. Location was great. We could walk to the harbor, the pier, the beach, and restaurants without our 4 year old complaining it was too far. We checked in after hours and didn't have a problem finding the patrol office. The pool was heated decently warm. I would have no problem staying there again.

This place is awesome! Very short walk to the beach. Walkable to lots of restaurants and entertainment. Pullout couch was helpful. You do have to mover your car every 24 hours if you have one but that was the biggest annoyance. Great place! Totally worked for us!

This place is a 2 minute walk to the beach and that’s amazing. The complex is beautiful and felt very safe. The boogie boards and sand buckets provided were great. On the Sand was responsive to an issue at check-in and corrected it right away. The place was as advertised in size, decor, typical kitchen items and reasonable for 2 adults and 4 children. I’ll say it again, 2 min to beach

Overall, we had a great stay. The condo is gorgeous and the location is ideal. The grounds are amazing. There are lots of walking paths and great facilities. The condo was well stocked with kitchen utensils, beach towels, books and games. Amy sent us lots of information before our stay. I love this area in Oceanside. You can easily walk to the harbor and pier. The sofa bed was not very comfortable. . I know most sofa beds are like that, so that was not surprising. All things considered, I highly recommend this place.

The central location was great! The condo was a short walk down the garden path to the pool and spa, and only a little further down the path and out the gate to the sandy beach. The chairs and toys provided were very much appreciated. Also, we were able to easily drive to nearby attractions. Our first day was south to SanDiego for LEGOLAND. Later in the week we drove north to Universal Studios.

Extremely detailed instructions and easy check in. Beautiful location about a two minute walk to the beach. This unit has a garden view as described in the listing. We didn’t want to leave! We’d definitely stay again. Also the security staff is SOO nice and it seems like a very safe place to stay.

We just stayed here with our 3 kids (ages 2, 10, and 15) and had a great time! This condo had 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms each with showers, and a pullout sleeper in the living area. I loved how clean it was when we checked in, and also loved that there were spare towels and some other basic items there. This condo is part of a larger condo complex, so we weren't really sure what to expect, but overall we had a great experience. Parking is in a gated garage, there is a nice little gym, pool area, rec area with some games, a BBQ spot with 3 large grills. The unit itself doesn't have a grill, which we didn't realize, but the grill area is easy to use and they get cleaned regularly, but this is one of the farther units from the grill. This condo is on the 2nd level, so we hit our step goals and got lots of activity with the kids going to the beach (just a walk away), walking through the beautiful garden/ Koi pond area. The complex is very well maintained. This was our first time to Oceanside and loved it, and the condo sufficiently met our needs to enjoy the beach for a week.

Spent 2 months in this ‘home away from home.” Lots of great food in the local area and there are wonderful farmers markets, in Oceanside and Carlsbad. We missed the ocean view but the garden view was lovely. Property manager was very good to work with.

This place was perfect for our family of four. Very kid friendly! The grounds are beautiful, and it was a fun, quick walk to the beach. My boys, 5 and 7, loved feeding the fish every time we walked to the beach. This was our first time in Oceanside, and this condo really was in the perfect location. Close to the pier and harbor, lots of restaurants in walking distance. The actual condo was great, had everything we needed, and they were very responsive to any requests. This is a great place to stay. Very close to the beach and harbour restaurants. North Coast Village is a beautiful location with lush gardens and waterfalls. Check in was easy. Good parking. Nice decor. It was great to have access to beach chairs and towels. The host provided snacks and waters which was a nice touch. Very pleasant stay.

We were at the property for a week. The grounds of the condo are gorgeous. Master bedroom bed super comfortable. Train was louder than we thought it would be but we were so tired from the fun it never woke us. Condo amenities were not fully stocked but owner helped. Only complaint is that our additional car got ticketed wish we would have understood how to do the public parking sooner. If you get the pass from the HOA office you still have to get down to the lot each morning by 8am or you will be ticketed Pass is good for evening parking only.

We enjoyed our stay here. We had everything we needed. It was very helpful that the place had a pack n play crib, beach chairs, beach toys, and beach towels. North coast is a nicely gated community with security. We had a problem with neighbors being loud late into the night and called security. The noise was stopped right away and didn’t have any other problems. That is a great perk about stay here. The pool was nice. The beach is a short walk from the place, very convenient. You are a short walk from the pier and some food places and a playground. The harbor is a short walk with food and rentals. The only 2 things that would be inconveniences were that there are a lot of stairs throughout and to take the elevator you still had to take some stairs unless coming from the parking garage. We also had to unload in a different place because the garage is 6’6” and our little SUV couldn’t fit with our top carrier attached. I would definitely stay here again! It is on the corner of the building so you have 2 balconies and windows on 2 sides of the building which helps with airflow and keeps the place comfortable and cool with the window. Ceiling fans are also nice in all the sleeping areas and rooms.

King bed amazing and comfortable, space for everyone, boogie boards provided, beautiful grounds, beach always great. We had crazy renters above us and security took care of it right away. Grounds crews were nice and kept their work areas clean as they are doing some major exterior renovating. Kitchen is functional but only for one person, very small. You are at the back of the building so the train is loud but windows are great and block it well .overall we would stay again.

I recently rented this precious condo to celebrate my best friend’s birthday & find a little peace these days. It had EVERYTHING we could want or need. (Storage area had sand toys, beach umbrella, chairs & my fave boogie boards!) Short walk & you are ON the beach! The whole condo was very clean and tidy. The kitchen was fully stocked with all we needed. The pool was fantastic (kids didn’t want to go when our time was up) plenty of room for the 6 of us. This gem is located right above the babbling brook and those serene sounds are what we will miss the most. We did not want our time to end & we can’t wait to go back! Highly recommend for your next family staycation or romantic getaway.

My family and I had a great staycation. We canceled our trip to Maui do to the COVID-19. This is a great location for a vacation. Walking distance to the Oceanside harbor and restaurants. We rented a boat and hung by the beach, pool and hot tub. We were so relaxed. We enjoyed every moment during our stay

It was a wonderful place to stay. We enjoyed the comfortable rooms, the set up they have in the rooms for your convenience. The pots, pans, some of the other things they had stocked there were a huge help to cook our own breakfasts, lunch and dinners. It was the perfect set up and the best of both worlds for all my kids and their families. Some wanted to make sure we had beach access, others wanted a swim pool for sure. It had both and was ideal to make it work for our family.. It was so fun. It was a perfect place to stay.

This was a great option for us, plenty of room for the family and nice location - easy access to the parking garage and not far to the jacuzzi or gate for the beach. There was one beach chair in good condition, the rest probably will need replacing for the next 'season'. Kitchen was stocked ok with dishes/pots/pans/utensils. Would have been nice to have a flat/smooth griddle or large fry pan. Really nice newish appliances and we were quite comfortable all week. Very clean. We would definitely come back!

We had a wonderful time in this beautiful, functional and comfortable condo for Labor Day. One small issue if sound bothers you then consider the train. If you shut the windows and turn on the fans then 95% of the sound is gone. Even though we heard it sometime we would book this condo again in a heart beat. Our grand daughter loved to different balconies to have a tea party with grandma.

Very clean condo, great location. Our kids loved the pool and proximity to beach. Pool area got kind of messy each day, could use one more cleaning per day. We forgot to bring shampoo/conditioner for our trip and could have used one more bottle of each. Overall though, the condo was a great place to stay and everything was sparkling clean inside.

We had a wonderful time staying at this location!! Amazing amenities, fun extras in the locker in the garage that we took down to the beach at the end of the complex & enjoyed with our teens. It was comfortable, well decorated & furnished, we REALLY enjoyed our time there!! The sunsets are beautiful from the deck/porch, the lighting in every room was beautiful. Very accommodating & easy to work with. We have saved this location for future stays when we may travel to the area again. This specific model - the photos pictured on the site are different than the actual unit you will stay in - our unit did NOT have 2 levels/stairs inside - it was a 2 bath/2 bed with simple family room & open kitchen, 2 simple decks/porches - beautifully furnished, clean, & very relaxing & comfortable. So even through it is different than pictured when you get there - know it will be nice & you will enjoy it!!!!

We absolutely loved our stay at North Coast Village. Our condo was great and came equipped with much more than just the basics, like sand toys, kites, a wagon and snacks for us to enjoy when we arrived. The grounds were beautiful and well kept. The pool and hot tub were loved by all, and it was amazing to be so close to the beach. We'll definitely be coming back!

We stayed for a week in this beautiful condo at North Coast Village. We have stayed here several times in the past and this was by far our favorite condo. It was the perfect size for our family and provided all the amenities we needed. We will certainly be staying again in the future.

My family and I stayed here at the end of April 2017 for 2 weeks. It is located perfectly as it’s close to Oceanside harbour, footsteps to the beach and walking distance to Oceanside Pier, shops and restaurants. The apartment was very clean, modern and very comfortable and with North Coast Village having a resort sized pool, spa, gym and bbq and laundry facilities it made our stay perfect. The owners Mark and Shanna and their team were very great in communicating with us prior to our stay which was great as we are from Australia. We will definitely be back to stay there again.

We thoroughly enjoyed the condo and the amenities. The owners really have thought of everything. This condo is located near stairwell which is super convenient when loading and unloading. Also the beds are very comfortable. The only negative I could think of is the community its self doesn't have great insulation between condos and you can very clearly hear the people staying in the condo on the floor above you, however this is not a fault of any person just indicative of the time period the complex was built. Thank you for making our experience so great. We will definitely look to staying here again in the near future.

They are very good about stopping by the unit that is causing any noise and asking them to be courteous of the noise they are making (basically a warning). We would love you back in the future!

This was our first time to North Coast Village. The condo was great, well stocked, clean and maintained. Able to cook meals there and feel at home without having to leave the property. Beach equip provided was perfect. Gated parking was a plus. The beach was awesome, perfect for a "Chill"-cation. Booking with Mark and Shanna was a breeze. We'll be returning to this property again and using On The Sand.

We have stayed at NCV the past two years and this unit was our favorite of the others we stayed at! The owners have put a lot of thought into what is needed when staying there. The little details were not missed! We loved having access to beach carts to get our stuff to and from the beach! It is very organized. I could find everything I needed. There are two sets of utensils, which I loved!! We enjoyed the popcorn machine and watching movies every night after a fun day at the beach! The beds were clean and comfortable and there were plenty of baskets for organizing all of our stuff. I was impressed! Mark was readily available and made sure our stay was great! I highly recommend staying here, I know we will come again!

The condo was amazing. My wife and I stayed with our four kids for five wonderful nights in the Garden Retreat. I was very impressed with the décor and cleanliness of the condo. The condo had a beach feel décor with little touches of extras, like pink and purple stuffed animals in the kid’s room, soft rugs to walk on, plants on the balcony, etc. The condo had everything we needed during our stay, pots, pans, silverware, dishes, etc. We thoroughly enjoyed the coffee maker and travel coffee mugs and put them to use every day. There was even a supply of coffee and sugar in the condo. There was always enough seating for the whole family in the living room and kitchen which allowed us to play games and watch movies as a family. The location of the condo was a bit far back in the community, but we loved the quietness of it. It was just far enough from the pool to avoid the crowd but close enough to take a swim whenever one pleased. Access to the beach was a bit further than we had hoped though, but still only a short walk through the complex. Everything was great from renting the condo to exiting the condo. We will definitely stay here again. The stay is well worth the price. Parking was easy with our minivan. The security staff was wonderful. We also really appreciated the beach toys and boogie boards. Our kids had a great time feeding all the fish in the pond too. There was so much to do and just not enough time to do it all.

Only complaint is the wifi was horrible. Attempts to reset per the instructions did not improve. Since there were no TVs in the rooms, we were hoping to watch movies from iPads. Wifi was so slow, could not stream a movie. Even updating apps was nearly impossible.

Thanks for the feedback Michelle. We have heard that if you bump the router that it resets itself (charger is a bit touchy) but had not heard about any speed issues. I wonder if the modem is going out? We will contact the owners and make sure we get that taken care of. We are also looking to get TV's in the bedrooms here soon so hopefully if you stay here again you will have them next time. We are glad you had such a wonderful time. Mark & Shanna Warr

We had a family wedding in Oceanside and this VRBO condo was a perfect fit for us. The condo is very conveniently located and easy to get in and out. Parking is great in the underground garage. The condo itself was very well equipped and had all we needed. It was maybe 100-125 yard walk to the pool and double that to the beach, so easy access but enough separation that it was nice and quiet. The beds were comfortable, the living area was great for morning coffee and planning the days activities. My parents who also stayed in the condo (they had never done VRBO or similar before) were so happy they are planning to stay again next year.
