B306 - Endless Summer

Wow. Just wow. I visited with my 4 children ages 9-13. Beautiful grounds and so much to do in the area. I have stayed at oodles of resorts with my children and for the price this one has been my very favorite. If it’s a little chilly just rent wetsuits and your kids will spend hours playing in the ocean waves and sand. The rental had a great sand wagon, 3 buggie boards, sand toys, games and even play blocks! The outdoor penthouse area was AWESOME. Great view. We did legoland and the Zoo but honestly the kids loved playing with the provided toys in the ocean the very most. We will definitely be back!

Extremely happy with our stay here. NCV itself is stunning and the amenities put it over the top. Our condo made it a perfect stay. “Penthouse” bedroom (as our kids called it) upstairs & good sized extra bedroom downstairs. Perfect way to spread out family & guests. The rooftop view is stunning - with room for all. Condo was stocked with adequate cooking supplies, a dishwasher, beach going necessities (including a wagon🙌🏻), beds were nice & decor is cute & comfy. Would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended.

This place was AMAZING! We stayed for 5 days with our 8 and 11 year old. There was EVERYTHING we needed, from beach towels to beach toys for the kids and an air fryer for the boyfriend 😆 The place was immaculate when we walked in! The upstairs King size bed was probably the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept on and the view of the ocean was unreal! I highly recommend staying here. We had to switch condos at the last minute and On The Sand was so great to accommodate all of our last minute needs! Already booked the place for next year!

Very impressed with the resort. There is so much to do and not enough time to do everything. The gym was excellent and clean. The beach is absolutely amazing, smooth sandy beach with clear/warm water. The condo was very comfy and provided everything we needed. Appreciate the number of fans available as it was very muggy first couple days! Enough room to accommodate our adult family of 5 comfortably. Would love to come back!

The perfect place to stay close to everything you need! Walking distance to the beach, the house has all the anemities to access the beach (wagon, chairs, umbrella, towels). Close to supermarkets and restaurants! Close driving distance to Legoland, Del Mar, Carlsbad, and 40 min from SD airport! Home was as described, included a designated parking space with closed gate access. Felt safe and secure!

Note that there's not a door to separate the upstairs master from the rest of the unit. The pack n' play has just one level which is low to the ground, so it's probably better for toddlers rather than infants. You also need to bring your own sheet for it as far as we could tell. This condo was very clean and in a great location. There were multiple comfy spaces for spending time together. The grounds were lovely and lush along with koi and ducks, heated pool and amazing hot tub. Beds, sofas, and upper deck furniture were comfortable. I already miss watching the waves, surfers and dolphins from the deck and the beach, which is a short walk away. The only drawback was that the nearest elevator has been out of service since the end of September (10 weeks ago). While the owner doesn’t have control of that, it could have been communicated prior to the visit. Overall, this was a great place for a peaceful and lovely retreat with friends and family.

It sounds like you had a wonderful experience overall at the condo, enjoying multiple things about the condo and the grounds, which is wonderful! Being able to watch the waves, surfers and dolphins is a definite plus and always fun.
As for the elevator, we do understand that not knowing would be a drawback and is something we can improve on for future guests.
Despite the elevator issue, it's great to hear that the condo provided a peaceful and lovely retreat for you and your friends and family. We hope to see you again and would be more than happy to host you again.

Very happy with the premise. Clean, quiet, clear direction, modern, great balcony view for sunsets. Felt welcomed with snacks and guide to restaurants. A lot of appliances to cook with like air fryer and instant pot. I wish there were basic food items like salt, pepper, any spices, and oil for cooking. TV quality was good, not a cheap low resolution. Had a lot of items for going to the beach; a nice touch. Loved the penthouse, watched sunset multiple nights.

In the Vacation Prep Guide that you should have received, it does indicate that each condo is individually owned and stocked according to the owner's preference. We do understand not having the basics can be a frustration though many times, things like that are left from previous guests.
Watching the sunsets there is amazing and we are so glad you enjoyed that. It is quite stunning.

Our stay in B306 was perfect! It had everything we needed for cooking and all the comforts of home. We spent every morning walking on the beach, which was clean and quiet since it was off season. Late in the afternoons we explored fun happy hour spots with fresh seafood appetizers. Just walking around the complex was beautiful with all the gardens in bloom. Loved that we never had to drive anywhere once we arrived. The Coaster was about a 20 minute walk to the station and $5 got us to San Diego for the ballgame! Easy peasy! We will definitely come again!

Great stay! Condo was well equipped, beds were sooooooo comfy! The grounds of the complex were pretty. Only a few negatives but they weren’t enough to ruin our time. The key system is a pain, it would be much nicer to have a card like hotels or a code We did find a dirty facecloth at check in hanging from the shower curtain. Also in suite laundry would be nice. Overall it was a great stay. Thanks for having us

It’s in Oceanside which is about 40 min drive north of San Diego and for us the location was perfect. There is a strip with some incredible local restaurants and it’s like a 10 minute walk to the Top Gun house. The furniture and carpets and bedding was all clean and taken care of and the place is silent at night. In the summer I bet you could maybe hear the waves crashing from the master bedroom if the slider is open. We were there in January so we didn’t really take advantage of the pool but when I turned the keys in there is a manicured jungle with wooden walkways and waterfalls that lead out to a heated pool. The bed was super comfortable and it’s on the third floor so no noise from above. There are three flights of stairs. It may have an elevator but we didn’t see one plus we need the exercise so we climbed some stairs. The marina is just down the street with Joes Seafood, an ice cream and candy shop and a handful of other shops. You drive right next to the marina to get there.

First off, we have rented in this complex for years and have had a wide variety of units. It is a really great location on the beach, with a great hot tub, heated pool fitness center, game room, putting course and beautiful grounds. It is perfect for our family since we can get there and let our girls do what they want. It is right across the bay with a quick walk over the bridge from the nautical bean for our morning coffee and several restaurants that are close for dinner. If you walk down the beach, "the Strand' it is a hopping pathway with bikes and scooters and walkers that is only a mile from the pier which then leads into the heart of Oceanside with tons of great restaurants small business shops and more. I have to admit, I was a little disappointed when we got there because it is in the unit furthest away from the ocean but it has surprisingly GREAT view! The top floor which is really like the 4th floor of the unit, has a wonderful patio with a daybed and seating and we spent lots of time just enjoying the sunsets, reading and listening to the waves. Its also nice because the upstairs is a large lounge style bedroom with a couch and tv so its not awkward to have the other guests come up to enjoy the patio. This unit is crazy well furnished. Need a blender, there is a brand new one...need an air fryer?!?! They have it. the furnishings are really clean and modern and definitely elevated from a standard rental. There are lots of extra blankets, pillows, towels (including separate beach towels)The TVs are smart so you can watch all of your streaming channels, good wifi and even furniture that has usb ports for chargers. We have two teen girls and we always like to have a separate room with separate beds for them and the guest room is very spacious with smart tv, fans and lovely main floor bathroom. With the upstairs and the main living room everyone can have their own space. As far as temperature, we always go for Thanksgiving to it is on the chilly side. There are wall heaters and a fireplace which put out plenty of heat. We have not been here in the summer so we don't know how it is when it is hot out. We will definitely rent this unit again!

Our experience was heavily impacted by a massive heat wave that made this the hottest week of the year. The roof-top patio looked beautiful but we could only use it for brief portions of the day. That space is lined with solar-panels (which we wish were in the profile pictures so we were no surprised by the view) so you can imagine how hot it got. The kitchen was wonderful. Closet has all kinds of great beach gear Wi-Fi worked great. We got a great breeze at night. The proximity to restaurants downtown is also a great feature. We spent a good bit of our time saying, “when we come back and it’s not so hit, we will really enjoy…” parking was easy. Pool was beautiful. Security was clearly present and very polite. All the things that usually disappoint me in trips were positives on this one.

If you like beautiful views of the Ocean, this is the place to stay! The master bedroom is amazing with a beautiful deck and lots of seats for everyone to enjoy the amazing Ocean views. This particular rental has plenty of room to fit 4 people extremely comfortable and sleep 6 people.

We had a wonderful four-night stay and everyone wished we could have stayed longer. It was a perfectly relaxing visit. Lovely condo, grounds are beautiful. This unit is the farthest from the beach, but walkable. Our only surprise was absolutely nothing in cupboards or frig to do any kind of cooking. Salt, pepper and baking soda, that was it. We’ve stayed in several other Airbnb’s around the country and this was a first. Wound up eating out every night except for a frozen pizza night. Would definitely stay again.

Another great unit at North Coast Village. Newly renovated, clean and spacious. This is our second time staying in NCV and we love this property. The second level roof deck with the ocean view was amazing. The unit had all the gear you need to go to the beach including wagon, chairs, boogie boards and sand toys. (Just make sure you bring extra sand shovels for the kids). The only real negative about this unit was the train traffic out the main floor balcony when the door was open to let in a breeze. Otherwise we totally enjoyed our stay and will be back.

The description of the unit is accurate. Parking is easy, right inside the garage off the street. Beach items provided as well as a wagon to cart them around are a nice touch. Our children are teens so we didn't use the play pen but it is a nice addition as well. Love how the upper balcony is appointed. Also, the addition of the shelf on the balcony rails are a minor but useful addition. Great idea, we didn't notice many others with that small feature. Short drive to the sea lion dock to see local sea life. Locals in Oceanside were friendly and laid back, the California way! Would recommend this condo for your vacation getaway for sure.

It is blocked off on one side by the complex and the other by the San Luis Rey River which is a great shallow, safe place for kids to play or just to relax. There is a great pool and hot tub in the complex and a Koi pond with a feeder to entertain your kids. The room itself was clean and had everything we needed. The interior had been redone recently so it was very nice and comfortable. The views on the top deck were great! Bring a spotting scope or some good binoculars, we watched dolphins out in the ocean most evenings while we were there and again early in the morning. There are whale watching tours and boat rentals walking distance just across the San Luis, as well as tons of places to eat and drink. This place was great and check-in and out was extremely easy.

Nice view and rooftop spot. Great beds and linens and clean. Close to beach and wagon provided to haul beach gear! Does have some steep winding stairs to upstairs master and rooftop outdoor seating. Does not have air conditioning so could get hot upstairs with warmer temp., but can get cross breeze. Fitness center was closed due to Covid, but pool open by reservation.

The equipment provided on site - especially the wagon made the commute so easy! We loved sitting up on the top deck at sunrise and sunset. Nice property in a fairly large complex.

This property is great for all ages. The only issue we had was with parking. If you have more than one car, it is difficult to find a second parking spot. It was quiet and everyone was very friendly. Checking in after hours is somewhat of a hassle as it’s hard to find the guard shack in the dark. However, once located, it was a breeze. Checking out was easy and quick! We used the grill area and this was awesome! It’s an easy walk to the beach approximately two blocks. We also utilized the beach umbrella and the beach chairs and used the cart to take them down to the beach. This was a great find! The place has everything you would need! The view from the upstairs bedroom was spectacular! Communication with the property management company was very quick and very friendly. I highly recommend this property!

I have never stayed in an upper unit before in Northcoast Village and I am blown away with this unit. It is so nice and everything is so well thought out. There is everything and anything you could want to make your stay convenient and comfortable. The beds were amazing, especially the master bedroom! I love how you can sit upstairs on the patio and look out at the ocean and I couldn't believe how well you can hear the ocean! It was like we were in a unit down on the beach. We sat out on the extremely comfortable outdoor bed at night and watched the sunset and couldn't believe how nice it was up there. The furnishings were so well done and it was so nice to stay in such a newly remodeled unit with every amenity you can imagine. This owner put a lot of thought and obviously money into this unit. We will absolutely be back to stay here again and I highly recommend this as one of the best units we have ever stayed in.

We loved this property! We have stayed at a couple of different units at NCV and this was by far the cleanest and nicest. It’s a little further trek down to the beach and the pool, but it still has amazing views from the rooftop deck. It’s well furnished and nicely remodeled. We loved our stay. The only complaint was that basic toiletries (shampoo/conditioner) were not provided so we had to make a trip to Rite Aid to purchase them, and we also ran short on toilet paper and Kleenex during our stay. Adequate backups weren’t provided for our 9 day stay. Otherwise, it was an amazing week and a wonderful stay. We’ll be back!

We do try to let you know that these items are not supplied by including an invetory list of what we do provide as well as a packing list with suggestions for everyday items you will need including shampoo and extra toilet paper. We were the first in after the remodel and couldn't believe how nice everything was. We loved the "lair" upstairs and the patio as well. Everything we needed was there. The beach wagon was perfect.
