had a great time in the C303 listing. walking to the beach was really convenient! we did have dog roll in every day at 11am in April which was a bit of a surprise. The HOA rules look intense, but enforcement wasn't over the top thankfully. Gym has some old machines but was functional. Sauna was also nice. The pool wasn't too cold for us, though the hot tubs were very nice. they had ping pong paddles but just one ball. used the boogie boards a little, and sand toys were also decent.
A few quirks: the upstairs bedroom doesn't have a door, so had to keep quiet after kids fell asleep on the couch downstairs.
This stay felt halfway between an Airbnb and a hotel, the kitchen has basic pots and pans but no spices.
No laundry detergent in the place, and the vending machine is $2.50 per load for soap and $2.50 for a drier sheet ... feels like it would be worth having a container in the apartment.

This was one of the best stocked places I've ever stayed at and I've stayed at a lot!! the kitchen had everything I needed! there were cleaning supplies available for us to use which was so helpful. Tissues!! In multiple places around the condo, I normally have to supply my own so I was thrilled to see the kleenex! It's often the little things that mean so much! And the iron!! I was thrilled to find a quality iron that actually got hot!! So many hotels and rental places have garbage irons or none at all and this one was great! this was a great place to stay and I highly recommend it to anyone!

One of the best places to stay in Oceanside. Beautiful lush landscaping, with running streams and waterfalls. Large beautiful pool. Large Hot tub. Great place for a family vacation. Property is right on the beach. This unit (C303) is about a 5 minute or less walk to beach. Only possible negative is the laundry is not in the units. Although they do have a good laundromat on the property. Good workout room. Elevators are a little confusing until you get used to them. Basically a very good choice for staying in oceanside. This was my second stay at North Coast Village. I will return.

Condo was very well-equipped. Welcoming, clean unit and comfortable beds. Short, enjoyable walk to the beach. It was fun to watch a surfing contest and dolphins playing nearby. We loved going to the beach multiple times daily. The pool and the hot tub were great. My kids loved the Koi Pond. Beds were comfy! TV was great to gather round and watch. Cool open air markets in town on Thursday. Pier, shops, ice cream! It was a great trip.

Thank you! Our family of six had a wonderful time at this (C-303) lovely get-away! Our check-in was easy and the staff was very helpful and friendly. We opened the door to our condo with soft music playing and windows slightly opened, letting in the fresh ocean breeze; the condo was sparkling clean and the whole atmosphere was very welcoming. The condo comes fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. Usually cooking in other kitchens other than my own, I am all thumbs! This kitchen was so convenient and has everything at your fingertips, which made it a pleasant experience cooking for a family of six. So much fun playing card games and eating our meals together and enjoying all the comforts, along with the lovely atmosphere this condo lends. From the balconies there are amazing views of the ocean and we were able to watch the surfers catching the waves! The grounds are beautiful, truly a paradise boasting with lush green tropical plants, flowers and waterfalls, as well as Koi Ponds! Then to add to all that you have the beach just steps away for a day at playing on-the sand! This condo has all the beach toys, umbrella and chairs; making it so nice to grab want we need and head to the beach. The pier is in walking distance providing lots of good food! This place has it all and is a great place to get away!

We had such a wonderful stay! All the amenities you could ask for, perfectly clean, and right on the beach! The check in was easy, and the condo was well furnished. There were two adults and four teenagers, and we all fit perfectly, and the complex was wonderful with lots for the kids to do. I booked this last minute for my family who was visiting for a tournament. I'm super nervous about booking without in depth research but it turned out great! They loved the location and the space. They couldn't stop talking about how wonderful it was, the bed's were super comfortable, it was clean with amazing views. Everyone from my boyfriend to his 9 year old son to his mom were happy!! We had a blast at this rental! Our family loves Oceanside & the Complex as well! This listing was just what we wanted and needed. Our favorite part of the rental was the view of the ocean and the upstairs balcony that gives you a peaceful feel when you are relaxing. It was great coming out at night and listening to the peacefulness it had to offer as the wind rushed through the palm trees. The place can get humid but it was not a problem since the breeze cooled things off, and the owners provided fans for each of the room! We couldn’t have stayed at a better listing. It was amazing being so close to the beach, lots of toys, chairs and an umbrella were provided for the beach, which was great! Look no further and book here you won’t regret it :)

We were blown away by the beauty and comfort of this condo - inside and out. Its location within North Coast Village is perfect - that photo IS the view. Over the tropical, dreamy koi ponds and lush landscaping, on to the ocean. It is so close to the ocean, too, so you can take your pick! The condo is stocked with everything any couple or family could want, and everything was tasteful, the TVs were high-quality, the appliances, the décor, the beds - ALL comfortable and perfect for relaxing. Not too full of kitschy knick-knacks like some beach rentals can tend to be -- just relaxing and welcoming. Everything was easy to operate (i.e. flat screen TVs, appliances, etc.). We will definitely return - the owners are responsive and so nice - we wouldn't change a thing! (Except want to own it ourselves! Ha) Thank you so much!

We had such a wonderful stay at this condo and we love North Coast Village. This was the first vacation, even after 8 days, that I was not ready to go home. We had plenty of space for our family of 6 . We also could get to the beach, pool, harbor, & pier so quick. Our family plans to vacation here at least yearly.

We have returned to this unit for 4-5 weeks for twelve years! We keep going back because it is always comfortable, clean and well equipped for a great vacation! The owners and management are a pleasure to deal with. The North Coast Village complex is extremely well cared for, right on the beach and the views are amazing. It is convenient to the pier, downtown area, harbour and train station. We would highly recommend C303!

This condo is in great shape, clean and well stocked. We stayed of 1 month and were comfortable all the time. Very pleased with the location. On-The-Sands made sure that all our needs were met and that they were there to make our vacation special.

We loved the location of the property between the pier and harbor. Both are easy to walk to for activities, food, and cocktails! The property it self is really pretty and had everything we needed from beach toys to baby gear which made our lives a lot easier. We loved having the two decks so when the kids were sleeping in the downstairs bedroom we could have a cocktail on the deck off the master bedroom balcony and relax with the breeze and views of the ocean and grounds. We were really happy with how great the grounds were with the pool area and even a putting green for the golfers out there. You have to have key access to even get into the gated community whether you are walking to the beach or parking your car which is all gated and covered. Really made us feel safe even though Oceanside itself is such a friendly safe community. It was really a great place to stay and a great community to explore with our family.

Had a wonderful stay at North Coast Village. We have been going there for a dozen years or so now. Our condo was well equipped and very clean and comfortable. The people from on-the-sand were very accommodating and easy to work with. I would definitely work with them again on future trips.

Perfect for a family of four! The kids loved having the option of going to the pool or beach. Mornings were nice and peaceful having coffee on the balcony with a nice ocean view. The pier was just a short walk away. Vacation was perfect!

We spent a week in this condo with our two kids. The place was very clean and fully stocked! It was plenty of room to be together but have our own space too. The whole complex was well kept and conveniently located to the beach and restaurants. We walked everywhere! I don't recommend a big car/ truck. The parking garage is tight. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely return!

We spent a month at this condo and we completely enjoyed our time there. The condo is very nicely decorated and has everything you could need. It was exceptionally clean and had very nice bathrooms. The master bedroom was wonderful and the king bed was so comfortable! The complex is great and right on the beach. The pool area is wonderful and there is a nice grill area. It is so convenient to town and we walked most everywhere we went. I would highly recommend this condo for a great beach vacation.

My husband and daughter were fortunate enough to be able to spend Thanksgiving (again!) with our Marine, who is stationed at Camp Pendleton. On our previous visits, we have stayed at North Coast Village, so we knew this was again our prime choice for this trip. Unfortunately, we did not know if your son was going to be able to spend the time with us until November 6th, so we unable to stay in either of the units we had previously rented. We found Mark and Shanna's unit and from the description it seemed perfect for our family. We were not disappointed! My prime indicator is the comfort of the beds and they were just the way we like them - firm and very, very comfortable. The living area was comfort and provided a great TV so we were able to watch our Dallas Cowboys win their traditional Thanksgiving Day game!!! The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare a nontraditional Thanksgiving dinner (grilled quail cooked to perfection of the complex's grills.) The unit was very clean, and the decor was the perfect beach theme. Though it was a little cold and rainy when we were there and therefore did not enjoy the beach, we noted the beach chairs and other supplies in one of the closets. The unit also has ping-pong sets for use in the complex's rec room. The unit was quiet - from past experiences we know the train is very close by (and can be loud especially at night.) But in this unit is was not a problem. The ceiling fans were a nice addition, as the previous units did not have them and the units could get a little hot and stuffy, especially if cooking. We just opened the sliding glass door in the upstairs bedroom, turned on the ceiling fans and the downstairs was comfortable very quickly. We had no issues with the unit during our stay. If we are fortunate to venture to Oceanside again, we would definitely stay in this beautiful condo!

I fully recommend this condo! We (my 5months daughter, husband and I) had an incredible vacation. The condo is beautifully decorated, and you could find everything you need during your stay. Has direct access to the beach (a block from the door), and is 6 blocks from the pier. The amenities are great, including gym, parking and pool. The check in and out was very simple, I also recommend Mark & Shawna from www.onthesand.com

From the start of the booking process until our departure from C303, the whole process worked extremely well. It was our first visit to the USA, so getting the support of Shanna and the team was great. C303 was a great apartment and North Coast Village a good location with not only direct beach access but also very helpful HOA staff. Oceanside is on the up and they are working on more improvement. A good location base for exploring other places along the coast.

This condo has EVERYTHING that you will need for your stay at the beach. I wish I would have known of everything that was in the condo before we left from Az-because I brought a lot that I did not need to bring, which I suppose is a good thing. You will enjoy this roomy fully stocked condo just a short walk from the water.
