D15 - Sea La Vie

I wish I could give D-15 a zero star rating…. Because I would hope everyone would believe me and never want to rent that unit so it would always be available for us🤣 . I'm convinced there's no better unit in the whole complex. It was perfect in every way…. Except for the one picture in the master bedroom that was not centered on the wall. I realized laying in bed one night I just might have OCD 🤪 but really the only thing that would make this better is if it had a washer and dryer in the unit. Besides that you have absolutely everything you need and is in a perfect location!

Wonderful condo! Had everything you would need for a wonderful time! Once we got there we did not want to leave! Ordered a few meals and drinks and made awesome bbq so relaxing bird watched and enjoyed the ocean view with my cocktails! Def will be back! Thank you for the wonderful memories and vacation!! We wanted to try D15 and we are so glad we did. The interior is beautiful. We loved the colors and how they brought out the beach feel. The side windows make it even better for light and catching the ocean breeze. Oh and the kitchen is very well stocked.with everything you need. My wife is a chef and asked me to mention that it was well stocked and the knifes were sharp. Beds were comfortable and loved hearing the waves. Very enjoyable stay at Sea le Vie.

My sister, best friend & her daughter joined me during Spring Break. We loved every second there. We didn't want to waste any time going exploring anywhere else, we stayed there on the beach the whole week, only used gas in the rental car to get back to the airport! Having the ocean right out the door is the only way to spend time at the beach. You can lay in bed in the master bedroom and see the ocean, we opened the window and fell asleep to the sound of the ocean every night. Lounge chairs with umbrellas to relax and spend time looking at the ocean, reading or napping was a dream. Patios with tables and chairs while looking at the ocean is the best way to enjoy every meal. Beds were all comfy, loved that we had cable tv and apps to watch our favorite shows. Plenty of beach chairs, boogie boards & towels when we did take the few steps to go play in the water. My friend's daughter loved the swimming pool when she wasn't playing in the ocean. We had a few rounds of pool in the the game room. We didn't want to leave and go back inland to our homes. Checking In/Out is easy. Assigned parking spot in the garage so no worries about finding a parking spot. Very secure property, we felt so safe there. We would definitely go back to Sea La Vie!

This condo is beautifully and tastefully remodeled. The decor and the finishes and furnishings are all excellent quality. The outside space was ideal and had plenty of comfortable furniture including table and chairs for dining as well as lounge chairs for relaxing.. because this unit is at the south end of the complex it has unobstructed views of the beach to the south and the pier, as well as extra windows for great ventilation. This unit is one of the few in NCV that has access to two assigned and covered, gated parking spaces. Our thanks to the owners for creating such a great place to vacation.

Bottom line: - our family made the collective and individual conclusions that D15 is our favorite condo at North Coast Village - the location right on the beach - the wrap around patio and private yard - the layout, interior decorations and furnishings of the condo - the beautiful and well stocked kitchen - the condo is well maintained and very clean - our only concern was the daily frustration and battle with the front door lock and key system which was also time consuming. We would hope to rent this condo often in the future.

My mother's favorite place to be is the beach. She found North Coast Village and quickly learned that unit D-15 was the best unit in the complex. She was older and liked that there were no stairs to enter. Because it's the end unit there were windows on the south side. Now the condo itself is updated, beautifully appointed and is stocked very appropriately. Most importantly were the views. It feels like the ocean is just outside and the views west and south towards the pier are magnificent. Over our week at the condo, my family made life memories. I am very grateful for On-The-Sand and Conni the owner. You both made the stay so easy and fun. If you are considering this condo, book it before it isn't available. You will be very happy staying there. As a former property manager and owner, this place has it all. I will be back.

This is our 5th year staying at NCV, the 4th time in this unit. In our opinion, it is the absolute best location of the entire complex. We appreciate the new updates, i.e furniture, cabinets, countertops, fireplace, mattress and outdoor furniture. The team was responsive to our questions/needs. Enjoyed sitting in the patio. We saw a whale right from our patio seats!!! Many restaurants within walking distance. We never had to get back in the car until time to go home. North Coast Village is a great location with a lot of amenities. We will definitely rent this unit again.

We enjoyed the condo and it’s prime location. Through no fault of the owner’s, the beach was torn up out front since they were dregging the harbor. Heavy equipment operated throughout the day off and on. The TV in the living room did not work the entire time even after the owner responded promptly by sending over a technician. No luck. The internet was down for 2 days. These 3 issues were frustrating, but I understand things happen. The condo was well stocked and clean. The beds were comfortable. The location was perfect.

The location is ideal for going out and about O'side as it is between the O'side Harbor and the Pier, close to downton for all the activities. The sunsets are phenomenal from this location and surfing is fun! The owner and his assistant are responsive regarding any questions you may have. You can't find a better condo location in Oceanside! First floor just steps from the beach. We fell asleep each night to the sound of ocean waves crashing on the beach. We loved taking walks to the pier. And when the kids were hungry we just walked back to the condo to grab a quick bite and then we were back to the beach again. We've stayed here twice now and will definitely stay again!

We had a wonderful stay at the condo in NCV. The location is great! Right on the ocean (we woke up and watched surfers on our back patio every morning) and next to the gate to the beach and the boardwalk. The complex has a great heated pool and hot tub that the kids loved. Everything we needed was provided - including a TON of sand toys, beach chairs, boogie boards and even wet suits. It's a great unit and location for a family trip!

We have stayed at this property twice and consider it the best location at North Coast Villages. Jon, the owner, is a pleasure to work with and his property manager is very responsive if anything is needed. There is side yard off the dining area which provides an extra outdoor space. Being on ground level with the grass out back is perfect for kids to hang out while you watch the sunset.

We've stayed in Oceanside many times during the Ironman 70.3 race held there each year. This is a prime spot for the event. Great, central location -- close to the harbor and the pier. The view from the patio is awesome, with no road (The Strand) in between you and the beach. The condo itself is nice, nice bedrooms, good kitchen and solid bathrooms. Very clean upon arrival. The only (minor) quirks we encountered were the somewhat flaky wifi and we had to take the cargo box off the roof of our car because of the very low parking garage clearance. Highly recommended.

The Dolphin's Den is the best unit in all of North Coast Village and my family has vacationed here several times, but in other units...and let me tell you, this one makes you never want to leave! It has an awesome unobstructed 270 degree view, is located right on the beach, but with the security of a gated community, and is tastefully decorated. Amenities that made it extra special was our own hose on the side of the unit to wash off boogie boards, our own grill, and the washer and dryer inside the unit. We found everything that we needed in the kitchen. We ate several meals on the patio overlooking the ocean. I may be shooting myself in the foot by writing this review because I want to come back to this unit next year if it is available!

The condo itself has all the amenities one would need, is comfortable, and decorated perfectly for a beachfront property. It is close to everything and has freeway access within minutes. We have been staying in North Coast Village every summer for years. This was by far the best condo we have rented. Location is perfect and condo is nicely furnished. We will definitely be back to this one again next summer. Only thing I would recommend is getting a screen door for the slider leading to patio. We had a wonderful experience, and were sad to leave.

Here's the deal for this rental: 10 steps from the beach, unbelievable view of the ocean, easy parking, easy drive to good restaurants and clean. Helpful condo information person, very nice pool and jacuzzi within short walking distance, and great beach toys/ boogie boards on site. Only complaint is that the dryer was broken and they just sent an email saying coin dryers available in the complex. When a place is rented, especially on the beach, with washer dryer a discount should be offered when it breaks. It is a small complaint however for an overall lovely place.

My wife, Barbara, myself & our two grandsons had a wonderful time, thanks in large part to the great ocean front condo that John Corn rented to us. It was condo D 15. It was well furnished, and we couldn't have asked for more He a very affable host and his maintenance person was quick to respond to questions. We certainly would rent it in the future and we also loved the amenities the North Coast Village offered. We would recommend staying their to friends, Robey Willis

We had such a great time ! We even had a slight problem and Jon was so great and took care it.. The house is fully prepared when we got there and the view is so amazing !! We already want to schedule another trip. Thank you so much for making the house just so homey!

We had a fabulous time! The condo is so close to the ocean we felt we were living on the pier. The views, sounds and smell of the ocean 24/7 was marvelous. Our entire family ages 13-84 had a great time!!

My family stayed for 4 nights and couldn't have had a better experience. Jon was extremely accommodating and generous to us. I called to ask if the unit happened to have any kids' beach toys stocked, to which he responded, "I'll make sure to have some there by the time your family arrives." Can't say enough about the property. Exactly as described, very comfortable to accommodate my family. Having the ocean literally out the back door made for such a unique and memorable experience. My kids absolutely loved playing at the beach right next door, or even just sitting in the chairs overlooking the ocean out the back-door. My son told me today he misses watching the ocean. We're all going through withdrawals. Fantastic stay, can't say enough how much we enjoyed our vacation staying at this property.

My children both gave it 6 stars. Timing might have been everything, but it seemed we had the beach to ourselves. It was a great place to just check out of the race for awhile. Tides, surfers, pelicans, body boarding, beautiful plants. Found ourselves to be very comfortable and didn't want to leave.

My family and I spent Spring Break, April 2016, at this condo. We had originally booked with a hotel, but after talking to a friend who stayed in this complex, we changed our plans and thankfully this unit was available. Everything about this vacation was great, and we had much more room and the comforts of home. The unit sits at the corner of the property and right on the water. There is literally water right out the back and along the side of the unit, and it's all beautiful. There was a storm surge the week we were there and water was spraying over the wall, it was awesome. Right out the complex gate was the public beach where the kids rented bikes, took surfing lessons, walked the pier and just sat and read on the beach. It was very quiet and a true vacation feel. We were close enough to all the sights; the zoo, La Jolla for bike and kayak tour, Encinitas for dinner and Pacific beach. There was no traffic to fight either - everything was quick and easy. For dinner we also could walk to harbor which is minutes away with plenty of options. And, all the comforts of home were available with the unit to make meals at home. The owner was very easy to work with and very accommodating, also providing suggestions on things we should do. The unit was very clean and comfortable. Having 2 bathrooms was awesome as well so we had separate space from our 3 teenage daughters. We could not have asked for a better vacation and would definitely come back.

My family of 5 stayed at this condo in Oceanside during Spring Break, April 2016. We made a last minute reservation, switching from a hotel based on a friend recommendation and it was the best decision ever. I believe this is one of the best locations in San Diego. The beach is pristine, we walked to the Harbor a few nights for dinner, down to the pier to enjoy the beach, rented bikes right outside the complex and the kids took surf lessons and Surf N Fire right at the pier. In additon, we were close to the zoo, La Jolla, Encinitas and Pacific Beach so we got to see so much just a short, traffic free drive away. The reason this particular unit was so great is because it was right on the corner of the resort. We literally had water right out the back of the condo, and because there was a storm surge a few days the water sprayed right over the wall, and it was awesome to listen to and watch. In addition, to the left of the condo was the beach so just feet away we could bring the beach chairs, which were supplied, and relax on the beach. The condo was clean, comfortable and felt like home. They supplied beach towels, beach chairs and all the necessary items in the kitchen to cook. The owner Jon was reachable and accommodating. We can't wait to go back.
