Pros:
This place was perfect for us. Gorgeous surroundings- view of the ocean, the pier, the beach. The condo is walkable to convenience stores, beaches, pier, pool, gym…etc. I loved sitting on the balcony and watching the waves. The master has a great view- I liked to lay on the bed and look out to the beach.
The kitchen accommodated our home cooking and had cookware.
Comfortable beds, quiet and relaxing.
Perfect layout for our family-
Will book again!
Cons:
No salt, sugar, coffee, or cooking oil stocked. I feel like these are some of the basics that are to be expected of Airbnbs.
The TV in the living room was not functional with WiFi but it did not cause us trouble, we watched tv in the master.
The parking spot was so tight. Our truck met the requirements for parking in the garage but, we found that our truck could not park w/the pole on the right side of the spot. This was stressful, having to find parking after 20hr drive & move our truck every 24hrs. But it worked out

Hi Staci,
We are so glad that the condo was a great fit for you and your family and that you were able to enjoy the convenience of so many things in the area. As far as the salt, sugar, etc., each condo is owned individually and stocked to the owners' preferences. Many times, the extras of salt, pepper, etc are left by previous guests. Also, each Airbnb rental has different things left in the unit. Though we understand that not having those things would be a con.
We're sorry to hear that you had issues with parking. In the paperwork you should have received prior to arrival, it indicates that the parking is tight and that the clearance is 6'6". Glad to hear that it worked out for you, but understandably stressful.
Overall, we are glad you were able to enjoy the condo and relax. We'd be happy to host you again when you are ready to come back.

Our family of five had an excellent time staying in D2 at North Coast Village. We had a great view of the beach and ocean. The condo was well stocked and had plenty of space for lounging around and making meals for our family. It was clean and had easy access to the complex and downtown Oceanside.

My husband and I have been repeat guests at NCV since 2014. Until this year, our condo of choice had been a penthouse condo in Building A (originally managed by private owners). This year, due to my husband’s health, we opted for a one story corner cottage even closer to the beach. Aside from the unexpected cool weather in early April, my only disappointment was the scarcity of backup bath linens and the recommended solutions of utilizing the laundry facilities or requesting additional towels for a fee.

If you are looking for a great value for an ocean view, then this is a great spot. I would have happily paid more to have a condo with new carpet and new furniture. This feels like a unit that the owners are avoiding investing into. Love the property manager and find them easy to work with.

This is a beautiful location with phenomenal views. The condo was very clean and stocked. It is an excellent choice for a family. My kids loved having their own room. We loved how close it was to the beach. If I had to suggest anything it would be to update the living room furniture, but that would not stop me from staying here again! Thanks for a great time!

We had a nice stay. Location is convenient with easy access to the beach and boardwalk. Some unit updates you may want to consider-the furniture in the family room was not comfy and the dining table chairs are a bit worn. Thanks for the stay

We had a great time in Oceanside. This condo was perfect for the 4 of us. Walking distance to the beach / pier and shore village with shops and restaurants. Due to pandemic we weren’t sure if we would even go on a family vacation this year. Everyone was respectful, social distance, most people wore mask. The kids had a great time on the beach and can’t beat the cool weather.

Perfect beach location and view. Loved that beach chairs and umbrella were provided. Very close parking spot was great. Condo needs to be updated a little bit. Overall we loved the visit and would definitely return.

The rented condo had a good location and worked well for us. The lighting was weak and the bulbs flickered (older fixtures). Unfortunately, the unit was undergoing a refurbish with new siding and roofing; but property management was kind to us to compensate for the inconvenience. Thank you

Great location! The beach is right outside the door. Everything was clean, warm and welcoming. It does get hot at night(we stayed the beginning of August) and it’s noisy with the windows open, so bring earplugs. On-the-sand was very responsive and brought a fan promptly. The boogie boards, umbrellas, and chairs were so nice to use at the beach. All of the beds were very comfortable. California was beautiful. Thanks for the great location and service On-the-Sand!
