D20 - Beachfront Delight

If this condo was any closer to the ocean it would be in it! Very well stocked and maintained. The grounds are gorgeous! We liked everything and highly recommend.

Beautiful view!! Love the location! Beds were nice and comfortable! Plenty of pillows, blankets, towels, and beach chairs.  The pool and the complex are well kept and very nice. We will come back and stay here again.

Condo was awesome. We had everything we needed. Beautiful view, the roar of the ocean and a relaxing atmosphere. Condo has a lovely beachy decore. Furniture is very comfortable. We would have loved to stay forever.

This is a great property for the value. We've never had such an amazing on the ocean property experience (sounded like we were sleeping on top of the waves). Comfortable furniture too. It's an older complex, and there's some close to the beach wear and tear (e.g., the bathrooms have some rust, etc). Some ant problems but the the property managers were responsive and helpful.

Thank you for the review and feedback! Being this close to the ocean and being built directly on the sand you will see some normal wear and tear like rust and ants but we do everything we can to keep the units in nice shape and address any issues promptly.

We have stayed at NCV three times before this but not oceanfront. D-20 was so nice. To hear the waves all day and all night was beautiful. Just sitting on the balcony soaking up the sun with a cool drink at hand was all we needed. You don’t even have to touch the sand. The condo is very clean . The screen door going out to the balcony was stuck a lot. Just needs some oil. We had ants a couple of times. Just don’t leave any food out at all. We were very happy with our stay and would like to go back next year.

We had a girls week away and really enjoyed the condo. The ocean view was wonderful and the sunsets were amazing too. Short walk to the pier. The train to San Diego was awesome, we used it two days. The Farmers market on Thursday was a great way to try many different foods. The condo looked newer then it really is, much older building. Need better directions on how to use the fire place, we were on able to use it. Thank God for the wall heaters, they were great to get the chill out.. Thank you for letting us rent your condo, we had a great week even with the weather a little cooler.

The location couldn’t have been better. The apartment was perfect for having our grandchildren stay over for a few nights. It could use some updating and we experienced some ants in kitchen and bathroom. We did spray and that seemed to help.

Response from Management:
Because the complex is built directly on the sand we do seem to experience ants every now and then but the units are sprayed regularly and we do provide spray as you found and it does clear up usually after one instance. We appreciate your review and feedback!

We had a fantastic couple of weeks at D20. Loved being right on the beach, having the ocean and sunsets to watch from the balcony, and it's great to be able to walk to shops and restaurants, the pier, harbour and fire pits etc. Really appreciated that the condo was well stocked with all the things we would need for the beach (towels, body boards etc) and a decent fridge freezer with an ice machine was a bonus. None of us wanted to leave and we would love to return!

We absolutely loved our condo!!! It had everything we needed for an awesome vacation. Plenty of towels, blankets and a fully stocked kitchen. The views were beyond amazing, we couldn't get enough of the ocean, watching the surfers and sunsets every night. On-the-Sand was fantastic to work with. They checked in on us to make sure we were ok and to see if we needed anything. They made the check-in and check-out process easy. We will definitely be back!!!

North Coast Village is perfectly located for a wonderful get away. The beach is steps away. Two playgrounds for young children are an easy walk. Walking and biking trails are easily accessible. Shopping, theatre and great restaurants are near by. The train system makes San Diego and Anaheim a short hop away. Golf? Too many courses to choose from. We would recommend a holiday here to anyone.

We have stayed in this condo twice and love the location. The grounds of the complex are really beautiful and the amenities offered(pool, gym, mini golf)are super. The property managers are right on top of things if there is a problem with anything.

Great family vacation location. Condo was clean and nicely decorated. Comfortably slept 3 adults and twin 6 yr olds. We have stayed at the complex before but never this condo. Liked kitchen remodel. Open and airy and right on the beach. Loved using the boogie boards and the jacuzzi after the beach is a must.

We loved the condo. The ocean view is stunning ! Falling asleep with the sound of the ocean is priceless.. We enjoyed spending our daily happy hour on the balcony watching the ocean. Kids enjoyed the place very much. Clean and enough space for 5 people. We think of going back ! Thanks !

Super cute condo, exactly as pictured and better. Layout is great, bathrooms are nice, lots of doors in hallway for privacy. Unit is clean. Lots of good books in Master under TV. That was a nice surprise. Best of all was sitting out on the balcony each day watching the kids play and just enjoying the view. It really doesn't get any better! The condo complex is very nice! Grounds and all units are just amazing and very well taken care of. We used all amenities including the gym and BBQ area. Unit D-20 is just a few steps from parking spot in garage so that was perfect. Parking is underground so clearance for vehicles is tight. Don't pack too high on roof of car or bring a high truck. Ours barely fit, but it was all good. Awesome street fair in Oceanside Thurs. nights. Fun to walk around, across from the theatre. Hope to come back very soon! Thanks again for everything Nili, we appreciate it!!

Our family of five loved staying at this condo. Very near the gate out to the beach, close to parking spot in garage, pool, etc. and best of all, the ocean is right outside your deck door! Great furnishings and all the amenities and accessories for your beach-filled days. Owners were accessible and communication was easy from booking through post-stay. We can't wait to go back!

My family and I enjoyed staying at the beach in this lovely ocean front condo! Loved the sound of the waves, the breezes and beautiful view! Furnishings were comfortable and there were plenty of towels, beach toys, beach chairs and even a cooler and umbrella for fun days at the ocean's edge. Excellent! So close to the ocean. You hear the waves pounding all night. When high tide is coming in it is unbelievable. Accommodations were lovely. Was surprised at all the extras that were there for our use. Definitely will stay there again.

The view from this unit is spectacular. The balcony for us serves as another room with this condo. Drinking coffee in the morning, watching the surfers and dolphins. Enjoying lunch, and taking in the heat from the noon sun, and of course, happy hour watching the sunset and hoping to catch the 'green flash'. Over the 13 years we have been coming and staying in this condo, we have noticed great changes and improvements, since Nili and Brian have taken over renting out this unit in 2011. It has certainly added to a much more enjoyable and pleasurable experience. Thumbs up.

Would definitely rent this condo again! The parking was so close to the condo which really helped since my walking is very limited. Have stayed in a different condo a couple years back, this condo was the BEST ever!

Is exactly as the title describes it...We were looking for a beachfront condo, and we certainly found it. Couldn't get much closer to the ocean, could almost jump in from the deck. The grounds are lovely, the pool great (we never did find the second pool)! Wouldn't hesitate to go there again.
