G218 - Palms Away

The resort is perfect for families, great pool, hot tub, right by the beach, mini golf, etc. Game room was fun on a rainy day. Pool was quite warm which was so great given the weather wasn’t.
The condo was great too although a bit dated. Host was responsive and helpful.

This was a perfect spot for our family to spend our Spring Break. It was a short walk to the beach, access to a pool, and within walking distance to explore Oceanside. We were close enough to San Diego to enjoy the zoo and Old Town. It was also very convenient to Legoland. The Airbnb thought of everything from snacks and water in the fridge and also had shampoo and conditioner. It was well stocked with everything we needed and close to grocery stores to get food for meals. We enjoyed our time. Compared to other Airbnbs the price was reasonable.

Had everything we needed, from beach toys, chairs, umbrella, to kitchen supplies, etc. Very short walk to the beach, great coastline. The harbor was close enough to walk to as well. The hosts were so helpful and responsive. The grounds inside were beautiful, and even with some construction going on in the facility we were still able to enjoy all the amenities! Finally, we had a small problem with a shower and they sent someone to fix it the same day! We would definitely stay there again.

I just stayed here with a group of my friends and we all loved it! We are a younger group and we all felt that there was a lot of things to do around that we could walk to as well. Overall we loved staying here and we would definitely do it again.

Well furnished, comfortable and stocked with everything we needed. The complex is beautiful and our family enjoyed the pool, gym, feeding the ducks and grilling. There is easy access to the beach, pier and harbor and a short drive for groceries. Parking was easy and secure.

Take ear plugs and use the loud fan, the neighbors above were loud and security would only address it with them if they could hear it themselves from outside the unit. We made it work and really enjoyed our week.

We are so sorry about your experience with the upstairs tenants. Unfortunately that is something that is out of our control and hopefully the HOA was helpful in asking them to keep quiet during the night. Overall property: huge rambling property with gorgeous landscaping everywhere. There are hundreds of condos in the place but the setup makes it feel small, comfortable, and quiet. Beautiful flowers, bunnies, koi, birds... Clean laundry facilities, gorgeous pool, wonderful grounds. The individual condo (from on-the-sand) was GREAT. Comfortable, clean, stylish without feeling like a hotel or a museum. Lots of nice touches for things I wouldn't necessarily think to bring, but which were needed (beach towels (we expected to have to buy them), casserole dishes, a butter dish, wine glasses, cookie sheets, etc). I have stayed at North Coast Village before but this is the first time I've wanted to go back to the very same unit. I will definitely return.

we loved staying so close to the beach. the beach wasn't as crowded as most other San Diego beach locations and was perfect for surfing and boogie boarding. the complex was beautifuland the lanscaping immaculate. the unit is older, but well cared for. we didn't cook but the kitchen was well stocked with appliances etc. it was perfect for our family of 5.

A nice and affordable place to stay with the family. The grounds are exceptionally well taken care of and it is right next to the beach. There were a lot of restrictions and covid restrictions. It was a little frustrating to have to try to reserve the hot tub that only allowed 8 people at a time and we have a family of six. I'm sure that there would have been plenty of times available for smaller groups. Other amenities were unavailable but this was known ahead of time. There were a lot of rules, which weren't hard to follow, and it made for a very comfortable and quiet stay.

t was our first time staying at a condo in North Coast Village and it was so great! The grounds and facilities were really nice although many were still closed due to covid. The condo is furnished nicely (love the mosaics!) and well stocked. There are plenty of beach chairs, umbrellas, etc and the kitchen has anything you might need for cooking. It was very humid the week we were there but there were enough fans to keep us cool at night. Parking is convenient- close to the stairs and elevator and the beach and harbor are very close. We'll be back!

We had an absolute fantastic time. Palms Away G218 exceeded our expectations. It was very well stocked with plenty of chairs, buggy boards, big umbrella ( a second one would have been nice) and towels. The kitchen had everything and more that one ever needed. Quality pots, pans and utensils. Will say the blender is on it's last days, we used it once and could hear and small a motor dying out. The beds were comfortable. Thanks for all the extra's this place had, lots of trash bags, paper towels, toilet paper, cleaning supplies. spices, water bottles coffee filters, creamers and a few snacks
