G23 - Coastal Cottage

The condo was as advertised. The location was perfect! Walkable distance to the beach and pier. The pool and jacuzzi were the highlight for my kid! Only issue was finding the condo for the first time, it was tricky but we made it! Other than that everything was perfect!

We enjoyed our stay. The property is right on the beach and conveniently located to shops and restaurants. The unit was clean, comfortable beds, but the sofa sleeper has a very thin mattress, and other than small children it is very uncomfortable.

Beautifully maintained Condo, with everything you need for a “ No problem” get away. Family of 6 had plenty of room and a comfortable stay. The grounds are like being in a garden of fun. Paths, bridges, streams, and something fun to do everywhere you turn. I honestly can’t find a thing to criticize. Loved it so much that we are coming back in September for a longer stay. A national soccer event for my son brought us to Oceanside, CA. We invited grandparents to tag along and reserved this beautiful cottage in North Coast Village. G23 had everything we needed and more. We enjoyed the short walk to the restaurants and shops, and loved our close proximity to the beach. We loved having a beach umbrella for shade for the grandparents, and boogie boards for our kids. All ages liked feeding the koi fish, and we enjoyed a night in the wonderful pool. If soccer brings us back again next year, this will be my first reservation! This was such a great condo for our family of 4. The best part was the deck and view of bay/ocean and when in the living area you feel secluded because there is a grassy area on the side instead of other condos. With kids the best vacation you can ask for is with a pool, a beach, and walking to restaurants. Will definitely come back!

Extremely well stocked condo -- they thought of everything! The full kitchen and selection of cookware provided everything we needed for anything we decided to cook up. The beach supplies are excellent. We made good use of the chairs, towels and boogie boards. There was even a collapsible cart to haul all the supplies down to the beach and back! The pool and hot tub facilities were fun and exceptionally clean. The grounds are full of a variety of beautifully landscaped flower beds. Location is excellent, very close to the beach and downtown Oceanside. Really incredible. I would highly recommend this condo for your vacation.

This was our first time ever staying at North Coast Village and renting from On The Sand and we will definitely be coming back and renting from them again! The amenities were great!! Large pool, large jacuzzi, koi pond that our grandson loved to go and feed the fish, cozy cottage with everything we could possibly need from paper goods to beach chairs and boogey boards! They even left some snacks on the table and drinks in the fridge for us!! The grounds were beautiful and we loved eating breakfast on the patio each morning and watching the waves of the ocean. If you’re looking for a great family vacation that’s both relaxing and fun, this is the place!! We can’t wait to return!!

This is our third time staying at north coast village and this was our favorite property so far. The communication with the owners was excellent. They had us fill out a survey about our favorite drinks before hand. When we got there they were in the fridge waiting for us. As well and a cute little goodie basket. This was such a nice touch the owners definitely go the extra mile to make sure you have a good experience. The unit was clean, fairly updated and nice. We love the view of the harbor and ocean. The only suggestion I would make is that they need new beach chairs. They had one newer one and the rest were all broken and falling apart. Overall we loved it and had such a great time. We would definitely book this unit and again and hope to in the future.

We loved our 5 day stay in this condo. We have rented 3 condos in North Coast Village over the past 3 years and this was my favorite. The condo is clean and updated. There were lots of beach chairs, a wagon and 2 great umbrellas for the beach. We were welcomed with some snacks and sodas and texts and emails making sure that we got in ok and were happy with the accommodations. They are awesome people to work with and the condo was perfect. We would stay here again for sure.

We will definitely request G23 again. It is an end unit which allows extra windows and off the beaten path, providing a quiet hideaway. We were celebrating our anniversary and they had flowers and treats waiting. The pantry also had a good supply of basics we might need. Beautiful condo!

Had a great time at this unit...ths location within Oceanside is great and views were phenomenal. The unit is well oppointed with everything you need for your stay. The outdoor grill needs some attention, we tried a new propane tank and still could only get a portion of it to work, we ended up using the communal grills by the pool. Otherwise A+

Our family had a great time over Thanksgiving. Condo rental process was clear and easy. Everything was smooth and no issues. Condo was clean and well kept. This home was a great comfort after spending long hours touring the many, many attractions nearby. We went from Coronado to Disney and always enjoyed coming "home" each night. The condo is perfectly situated and accessible. We felt secure and well taken care of while enjoying the local amenities. We have stayed in other properties in this complex, and we felt this one was our best fit. It had everything we needed, plenty of space to spread out and had whatever you could want for the beach!! We had another wonderful vacation week at NCV in this very nice unit. We previously stayed in a similar unit and liked this one even better. It had everything we needed and comfortably slept 6 adults- even using the sofa hide-a-bed. We walked everywhere we needed and wanted to go. Our stay at Oceanside was great but too short. The unit we stayed in was perfect for 4 people and the location to the walking location to the beach and coffee was very nice. The distance to both SD and LA makes it possible to take day trips to both areas. Definitely we would stay here again!

This is my second stay at NCV and first time in this particular unit. My family and I like this unit a lot. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook every night. Plenty of towels, beach toys... Everything you could need for a week at the beach, all we bring is clothes. Beautiful ocean view, not terrible noise from the train. The whole complex is walking distance to the marina where there is Joes Crab Shack (and other places), it's even walking distance to town and the pier (we walked it with our little ones). Can't wait to visit again.

I found this property by accident, and was pleasantly surprised when we arrived. I guess I was somewhat hesitant after watching the youtube video about the property...all the do's and don'ts actually had me wondering if this was the right place for our Christmas getaway. The grounds were decorated for the holiday which was a bonus. The condo itself was about a 30 second walk to the beach for great sunsets. Clean, secure, and a great location. We arrived on Christmas afternoon and the staff that checked us in at the patrol shack was top notice. We drove to San Diego in less than 30 minutes and made it to Disneyland in just under an hour. Downtown Oceanside and the pier was a nice stroll especially at sunset. Good food was within a 10 minute walk. The only issue we had was there was conflicting instructions in the binder in the room and those in a frame about how to login into the wifi. Hint follow the instructions in the frame. I highly recommend this place and have already suggested it to family members.

Great location, beautiful condo and well equipped. Great views both inside and out of the condo. I will caution those that stay here to keep nothing out on the patio at night. It will disappear. My parents own a condo on the same side and have the same problem. Other than that, this condo is FANTASTIC!

The Homeowners Association is in the planning stages of creating a fence in front of the "G" cottages in that row, which should alleviate "missing items from the back deck" in the future. We stayed in unit G23 and had a wonderful mini vacation. The welcome basket with goodies was a very sweet and warm touch to the beautiful unit. The view from the balcony was breathtaking especially at Sunset. When your out there you have a full view of the ocean. The beach toys and wagon were perfect to walk down to the beach. I've been coming to North Coast Village for 30 years and have had many different units. I feel this has been the best unit so far. Good view and location, comfortable and very spacious. Nili and Brian had a gift basket waiting for us and we felt very welcome. The unit was stocked with games and beach equipment. The beach wagon came in very handy. It is a corner unit and the balcony felt very private. A nice grass area with rabbits grazing every morning just outside the kitchen window. Even though we were close to the road and train I barely heard the traffic or train. I look forward to coming back next year.

I'm so sorry it's taken so long to write a review. We had such a wonderful time - the condo was clean, comfortable and completely equipped for our stay. Perfect location and we felt at home the minute we walked in the door. Our toddlers loved it, too and we made good use of the beach toys. Nili and Brian made the reservation process easy and were very accommodating. We will definitely be back!

My family and I have used this little piece of paradise two years in a row and pray we can continue using it each year. The condo is absolutely beautiful and located close to the beach. The owners are fantastic to work with and make sure your every need is satisfied. We would highly recommend this condo to anyone!!!

Debbie. We completley enjoyed our stay in the North Pacific condo. You were so kind and responsive and your description of the remodeled was understated. High thread count sheets, "Tommy Bahama" Island feeling with the use of comfortable sofas, dine area, and the deck with the view of ocean and harbor was great! We used the provided BBq a lot and enjoyed being able to cook at the unit and enjoy the plasma TV's. The internet access was great! The kids loved the easy access to the ocean and thanks for the boogie boards and beach towel use. We are coming back next year. They don't have anything like this in Arizona! Cynthia & Dale

Debbie the owner was great and very helpful, if you need anything she is just a phone call away. Our stay was fantastic; the unit is well worth the money spent. It was comfortable and relaxing with everything you need. With 2 teen aged boys who basically stayed on the beach the whole time gave my husband and me a great time to relax and explore the area. This is a five star place to stay.
